Bold but smooth
This I like very smooth color is great as well as the finish, the taste is balanced but with a punch which I like in an XO. For this house not to make an XO a couple of generation back this is very carefully blended with an aged punch for lack of a better term
I like! I think I will get a bottle.
Unmistakable taste
A sip of wine for the last day of 2020 starts with the pleasure of this cognac.
I owned a bottle of Frapin Multimillésime No2 a few years ago and when I opened the bottle and drank it my impressions have remained fresh and very vivid.
This time, I opened the Frapin Multimillésime No7 again with anticipation, and the aromas that first came out of the bottle made my saliva stick.
The aromas are complex and refined, prominent on the nose and palate, initially floral on the nose, before being replaced by lemon notes. This is then followed by fuller, more savoury aromas of fresh orange, ripe plum and other fruits.
Half an hour after waking, take a sip and layers of candied fruit, apricot, orange and rich vanilla emerge, with leather and barrel notes remaining to swirl in the mouth, the complexity is outstanding, the flavours subtle and persistent.
The finish is very persistent, good cognac.
Thank you Cognac Expert for offering this great price.
This is incredible!
This is one of the most complex bottles of cognac I have had to date.
I got together with my family over Christmas and opened this bottle of Cognac, which we all always thought was a very complex cognac.
Upon opening the bottle it first spilled out with aromas of duck pear and vanilla vanilla, followed by notes of honey and milk sugar.
The first sip is very pleasant, with fig and fruit preserves presenting themselves over and over again, before the chocolate, cardamom, honey and pine notes come to the fore and the finish lingers. The cake's and barrel and cigar stay in the mouth for a long time.
A good cognac!
Heritage of Cognac
This cognac is different from the other Proprietre Cognac. The best product to enjoy while airing.
Outstanding Cognac
Bertrand XO is a blend of Petite Champagne aged 35 and 40 years. Just a lovely nose, with dried fruits, and a little vanilla and wood spice. I want to crawl into the glass!!! The palate is alive with dried and candied fruits, some kind of nut, and a hint of chocolate? The finish is extremely long, and so pleasing. This is an outstanding XO Cognac!!!
Winter warmth
Nose: Rich stewed fruits: apples, dates. Cinnamon, nutmeg and wood.
Palate: Delightful Christmas Spice, sticky dates, ginger with notes of chocolate.
Finish: Long, delectable, spiced ginger. Appealing, balanced but full flavour you'd expect from a quality XO.
Cordon Bleu Extra
Already appreciate the classic Cordon Bleu for its own merits. But Cognac Experts had the new Extra (blue label) on a special promotional price, so I took the chance and ordered one. I shouldn't have doubted. Martell always makes an excellent product. I do think this new variant on the classic Codon Bleu is going to be known as a classic in its own right.
VSOP
I bought this cognac to give my close family the understanding of cognac. My brother in-law loves this one because it is very fruity!
Heritage
Fantastic cognac to share with your wife. The more you drink the better the conversation!
A pleasant surprise
I picked this cognac because I liked the shape of the bottle, no other reason. I ordered 2 bottles ( different ) cognacs and in ten days my shipment
Arrived at my front door. My plan was to open this bottle on Christmas Day. So before Christmas dinner I poured 3 glasses and we did “cheers” and my first sip I was so happy. I am not an expert by any means, however, I am confident that ant cognac expert would agree with me. This is an excellent bottle and I will be ordering another one on my next order. Smooth as silk, no alcohol burn or smell at all. Fantastic mouth feel. I polished off the entire bottle by myself it was just way too easy to drink. If you are on the fence about buying this, don’t hesitate, you will love it.
