Beschreibung
Jean Aubineau’s delightful single-barrel Cognac has been lovingly produced using traditional methods passed down through generations. This stunning oak-rich eau-de-vie comes solely from Ugni Blanc grapes grown in the Fins Bois region, the largest of all the growth areas, and a cru that produces exceptionally round Cognac.
This vintage Cognac was distilled in 1957, it was then stored in new barrels for six months before being transferred to the old oak cask that Jean's father used to use. Within this family cask, the eau-de-vie patiently aged for 52 years, during which time the ABV naturally reduced to a cask strength of 48%. No additives, caramels, or sugars were ever added to this naturally stunning Cognac, and only around 200 bottles remain.
Presentation of the bottle:
A classic cognacaise bottle with a wonderfully simplistic label - this bottle lets the Cognac speak for itself.
How to enjoy:
This single barrel Cognac should be savored neat at room temperature so as to fully appreciate the cru and the year from which it was born.

What I remember the most when drinking is the oak, I need to buy another bottle to be able to get this review correct. However, its an amazing cognac, you taste the oak, the...
