Crowned as Paul Pacult’s ‘Best Spirit in the World’, this Cognac is an assembly of Tesseron’s finest collections of Grande Champagne reserves. As the name suggests, it borders on perfection and provides a sensory experience full of complexity and finesse. Made using both Ugni Blanc and Colombard grapes and aged for more than two generations in Limousin oak barrels, this is the crème de la crème of Cognacs.
The epitome of excellence, Tesseron was founded in 1905 and is still managed by the the family today, three generations on. Abel Tesseron who first created the company adopted a policy of building up large stocks of eaux-de-vie and carefully conserving them in a twelfth-century crypt. The Cognac collection gained a prestigious reputation amongst connoisseurs, whilst also being sought out by large Cognac producers who were keen to complete their blends with his renowned eaux-de-vie. The family now has an exceptional collection of very well aged Cognacs, which are almost exclusively of XO and beyond quality.
The bottle of N° 53 Perfection comes accompanied with two Riedel tulip glasses, which are considered to be the epitome of quality Cognac glasses.

About Tesseron Cognac
Tesseron Cognac specializes in high-end Cognac, exclusively producing “XO and beyond” blends from their ancestral home in Chateauneuf-sur-Charente, which lies between Cognac and Angouleme. When founder Abel Tesseron, whose face features on the company’s logo, acquired the property in the late 19th century, he patiently conserved his stocks of eaux-de-vie in the 12th-century crypt located deep underneath the domain, selling his matured masterpieces to various larger Cognac houses. These reserved and rare stocks have become legendary amongst Cognac connoisseurs the world over. It was, however, only in 2003 that the fourth generation of Tesserons made the decision to release a range under their own name, armed with an unrivalled Cognac craftsmanship and fueled by the legacy left by their grandfather, the iconic brand Tesseron Cognac was born.
The Tesserons are also active in wine production, owning the esteemed Chateau Pontet-Canet, a Pauillac classified property producing Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux Wine.
