Description
Rémy Martin Collection Centaure Blue Cognac
If you’re looking for a Cognac unlike any other, the Rémy Martin Collection Centaure Blue Cognac is a truly exceptional selection. This Fine Champagne blend was released in the 1980s and comprises eaux-de-vie from the two premier terroirs of Cognac, Grande and Petite Champagne. Housed in a rare and wonderfully unique Limoges decanter, this bottle is sure to catch anyone’s attention and deserves pride of place in any collection of fine spirits.
A piece of work as exquisite as this could only be created by a truly exceptional Cognac house. Originally a winegrower, Rémy Martin founded his own Cognac house in 1724. By purchasing neighboring parcels of land in the excellent wine-growing area just outside of the town of Cognac in 1774, the family extended their activities to become one of the prime producers of eaux-de-vie in the region. Rémy Martin implanted a strong sense of family tradition, which continues to this day as each Cellar Master passes on their skills to their replacement, generation after generation. Over the years, each of them has continued the founder’s passion for Cognac and a strong commitment to quality.
Presentation of the Bottle
A truly unique sight, the ceramic decanter depicts the silhouette of a centaur about to throw his spear. It has been finished with a royal blue glaze and hand-painted gold details. Outstanding in every detail, this is a Cognac that deserves to be saved for a special occasion or given as a special gift to a true Cognac connoisseur.
How to Enjoy Rémy Martin Collection Centaure Blue Cognac
To fully appreciate the character of this Fine Champagne Cognac, we suggest enjoying it neat in a tulip glass - after letting it rest for 30 seconds to develop fully. A dash of water may be added to allow the aromas to open up further.
