Cigars in a tack room
Almost at the bottom of this bottle and I’d say the tobacco, leather and cocoa notes have been getting stronger as it oxidises. There’s also ginger and cloves, with honeysuckle, cigars and a spot of licquorice. Astringent tobacco on the palate. Almost ashy. There is an explosion of spice and...
First review here ever
Hardy Noces D’Or is my favorite so I decided to try Noces D’Argent since it was on sale here. This was my first order from Cognac Expert and I was pleased with the people and the Cognac. Cognac gets a 87 with a solid performance and the people get a 100. Thanks Cognac Expert.
A solid Fine Champagne
The Grape varieties used are Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard, and is a blend with comprised of around twenty Grande and Petite Champagne eaux-de-vie. Nice fruit and raisin lead off the nose, with subtle tobacco as well, which is more pronounced at the rim of the glass. As it really opens...
Massively indebted to its wine origins
Jewel-like golden amber in the glass. Wonderful nose, raisin, tobacco, honey, that just keeps getting better. Slightly astringent, slightly fiery, massively indebted to its wine origins. Long finish, low in the palate, lingering sweetness.
A social cognac to be shared around the campfire

On the nose it is quite rich, I find a lot of darker tones like wood, tobacco and leather, but also some more...
