Description
Chateau de Beaulon Triadine is a collection of three 20cl bottles, presenting some of the best-loved expressions from this esteemed Cognac House, making it a great introduction to the taste of Chateau de Beaulon. The set comes in a lovely presentation case, making it an ideal choice of gift for any Cognac lover.
The set comprises:
Chateau de Beaulon VSOP 7 Years Old Folle Blanche Cognac
This unique VSOP has been aged for 7 years, significantly longer than the legal requirement for a blend of this age. It is a single estate, Fins Bois cru Cognac, made with eaux-de-vie distilled from the rare and lesser-used Folle Blanche grape variety. The distinctly floral bouquet (typical of the Folle Blanche variety) shows geranium and candied orange, leading into a fruity palate.
Chateau de Beaulon XO Premier Cognac
An exceptioned XO that has been aged for 12 years in French oak, boasting a wonderful variety of flavors and aromas such as toasted notes of bread and almond, fruity peach and orange, balanced by the warming spice of cinnamon. Winner of the Gold Medal at Vinalies International in 2018. Revue du Vin de France described it as “an elite eau-de-vie”, while Gault & Millau called it “perfection in its kind”.
Chateau de Beaulon Grand XO 20 Years Old Cognac
Aged for two decades, this superb release is an award-winning work of art. Distilled over light lees in small copper pot stills, it has been matured in Limousin and Tronçais oak barrels in the Lorignac cellars at Chateau de Beaulon. Aromatic notes of angelica, lily of the valley, cinnamon, nutmeg, hazelnut, sandalwood, grapes and ripe pear. Winner of the Silver Medal at Mondial Shanghai and the prestigious Trophy Excellence at Citadelle Bordeaux in 2006.
Presentation of the Package
The three 20cl bottles are beautifully miniature glass decanters presented in a wooden box. Overall, this is a tasting set of exceptional quality and the perfect introduction to Chateau de Beaulon, as well as a great way to learn more about an often underrated cru.
Enjoy each bottling separately, or get the tulip glasses out, line them up and explore the Fins Bois region in a tasting with your friends.
About Château de Beaulon Cognac
The beautiful façade and setting of the Chateau de Beaulon Cognac estate is a fitting setting for producing fine cognac. The chateau itself dates back to the year 1480, with it entering into the hands of the Beaulon family in 1510. The family name remains the same to this day, although it is now run by the very capable Christian Thomas. Chateau de Beaulon Cognac has always been, and continues to be, created purely from the fruits of a single vineyard, and is recognized around the world as being a highly desirable, artisan produced cognac.
