Description
Camus Mini Set Borderies Single Estate (VSOP - XO) Cognac
Camus Mini Set Borderies Single Estate VSOP and XO are miniature Cognac delights created from eaux-de-vie grown in the Borderies terroir. The Camus family ensures that the vineyards are cultivated in a sustainable and ecologically sensitive manner, in order to preserve the environment and wildlife. Each barrel is unique with eaux-de-vie from each section of the vineyards and is both distilled and aged in separate casks.
1x5CL VSOP - The most awarded VSOP Cognac at San Francisco WSC from 2013 to 2018. Camus VSOP Borderies is a Single-Estate Cognac produced exclusively from grapes selected from the Camus vineyards. Spanning over 188 hectares, Camus owns the largest extension of vineyards belonging to one single producer within the Borderies Cru. As a result of the unique clay-limestone rich soils here, the land gives origin to the distinct characteristics of this VSOP, which reveals deep floral and spicy aromas.
1x5CL XO - Single-estate XO Cognac, handcrafted from grape to bottle. Undergoing a lengthy maturation process of at least 10 years, Camus keeps each eau-de-vie separate without blending them. This allows the Cellar Master to carefully fuse the eaux-de-vie, with the final result: this intensely aromatic, Single-Estate XO Cognac.
Presentation of the set
This mini set is displayed in a luxurious presentation box featuring bronzed golden accents. Inside, the two 5CL bottles are dressed in mini versions of the original elegant bottle designs. A truly stunning gift idea to a Cognac enthusiast, or indeed the perfect gift to yourself as a lavish act of self love.
How to enjoy
To appreciate the intense aromas of the Cognac, we recommend serving both Camus VSOP and Camus XO on their own - neat. Try adding a few ice cubes to the glass to allow a subtle change in the distribution of aromas. However, both Cognacs are truly blissful without altercation.
About Camus Cognac
Since 1863, five generations of the Camus family have cultivated a single-minded passion for crafting great Cognac with their own style. Laid across 180 hectares in the smallest and rarest AOC cru - the Borderies - the Camus family has always been deeply involved in winemaking and distilling. It is this unbreakable bond between the land, the traditions and the people who live on it that helps them craft superb Cognacs. Today, it is Cyril Camus who is the bearer of all family tradition and oversees the undisputed quality of Camus Cognac. Export development and product development remain at the top, with a passion for innovation. Cyril Camus has entirely modernized the Cognac house’s interiors, relying on a fresh new take on Cognac for the new century. Instead of leather, wood and velvet in shades of brown, he opts for light colors and a combination of tradition and modern design.
