The Last Drop Distillers Cognac

How the Last Drop found the barrel

The casks for their Cognac were found in a small distillers, somewhere in the woods close to the town of Cognac. The casks have been there for sixty years, most of the eaux-de-vie evaporated, but some cognac was lfet. There are only 478 Last Drop Cognac bottles.

Like Last Drop's whisky, their 1950 Cognac is hand bottled and sealed with wax. And the customer receives a 50ml miniature bottle.

A Great Loss

A consignment of miniature bottles of The Last Drop 1960 Whisky and 1950 Cognac has gone missing on the flight from Scotland to Last Drop's agents in Czechoslovakia. “This is truly a small tragedy”, said James Espey, Chairman of Last Drop Distillers, “Of course the shipment was insured; but when we lose these bottles, we can’t distil any more – they are gone for ever. I just hope someone doesn’t drink it with coke".
