History of Cognac Mallet

The origins of Cognac Mallet can be traced back to the inception of the house of H. Mounier in 1858. Here, a young Cognac man, Henri Mounier – a captain of the French Merchant Navy – set up his house with the aid of a cellar master and vineyard owner. From then onwards the house of Mounier was grew and introduced many cognac brands as well as Pineau des Charentes. The centuries of knowledge and skill have been passed down through the generations, making the house, and Cognac Mallet, what it is today.

Today Cognac Mallet rubs shoulders with several other cognacs in the Mounier portfolio. The Mallet eaux-de-vie is distinctive for its subtle flavour, along with vanilla and spicy tones. The cognac is produced under the watchful eye of the cellar master, with strict quality control ensuring that all stages of production are carried out to the highest of standards.
