History of Cognac Lise Baccara
A relatively new enterprise, Lise Baccara was set up in 1988 as an E.I.G. – Economic Interest Grouping. President Gerard Paignon has developed a range of cognacs, liqueurs and aperitifs over the years and the company has grown from strength to strength. The cognac they produce is an XO – using blends between 15 and 25 years of age. Lise Baccara XO is the only cognac that is aged and bottled. The young cognacs are used as a major ingredient in the wide range of aperitifs they produce.
Lise Baccara Today
Today the company Lise Baccara has grown rapidly since its inauguration. In 2001, they opened a second base in the town of Saint Martin Lars in the department of Vendée. In 2009, a third premise was opened in Montreal, Canada. From here they are concentrating on their Canadian and American distribution.
Combining their cognac with a wide variety of different fruit cocktails and aperitifs has been a winning combination for the Lise Baccara.
