The Story of L'Encantada

L’Encantada was born out of passion in 2011 in the heart of Vic-Fezensac, when a small group of Armagnac enthusiasts united to preserve and showcase the legacy of this time-honored spirit. The founders, Christelle, Vincent, and Frédéric, aimed to restore Armagnac to its former glory, respecting its 700-year history and authentic Gascony terroir. Inspired by the legendary musketeer d’Artagnan, their approach combines courage and elegance, much like the noble spirit they bottle.

Preserving Tradition and Authenticity

At L’Encantada, each Armagnac is carefully selected by cellar master Vincent, ensuring that the unique character of each vintage is preserved. Every bottle is “brut de fût,” meaning it is bottled straight from the cask without filtering or altering its natural color or alcohol content. The Armagnacs are neither sweetened nor diluted, maintaining their raw, unfiltered identity.
