History of Le Reviseur Cognac

The owners of Cognac Abecassis – Francis Abecassis and his daughter Elodie – firmly believe in single estate cognacs. The estate of Le Reviseur is the second largest in the Abecassis family, and all their domains added together total the largest family owned vineyard in the cognac region, the largest being ABK6, which covers approximately 90 hectares.

Abecassis was founded in 2005, making it one of the youngest cognac houses in the industry.  Le Reviseur Cognac is therefore also a very young brand. The brainchild of Francis, who brought his daughter into the family business when she was aged just 23, and together they head a cognac house that embraces innovation and advanced technology.

Cognac Le Reviseur Today

By using the most modern of advertising techniques including Facebook, blogs and Twitter, Elodie Abecassis has helped spearhead the Abecassis brands forward into the 21st century.  Today, Le Reviseur cognacs are exported in particular to Eastern Europe and Scandinavia.

The complete process of producing the cognac takes place at the estate, thus ensuring the highest of quality control of each and every bottle produced. Every stage – from the tending of the ground and vines, right through to the completed bottled product, is watched over by cellar master Simon Palmer.  His is an enormous task, tending and preparing the complete Abecassis range over the three separate brand names.

News, Products and Old Labels

The brand also produces a Pineau des Charentes, called Pineau Blanc Reviseur.
