History of Guerbé Cognac

Guerbé Cognac has, and remains to this day, a traditional and family run vineyard and distillery. From the beginning every aspect of producing eaux-de-vie has been carried out in-house, and the knowledge handed down through three generations. Naturally, having been in existence for many years, Guerbé Cognac has an impressive array of aged cognacs languishing in its cellars, along with traditional pot stills where distillation is carried out.

Guerbé Cognac Today

Little has changed over the years in the manner of cognac production carried out by the house. This artisan brand prides itself on producing a range of cognacs that cover all qualities. Today, the house is in the capable hands of Jean Guerbé, and the house is run in conjunction with Daniel Guerbé. Naturally, the house has embraced advancing technology, as well as the latest in advertising and marketing, enjoying direct sales via e-commerce and the Internet. The house also presents many of its cognacs in a variety of different bottles and carafes – every one being a solely premier cru cognac.
