History of Edouard Larcy Cognac
It was in the year 1889, when Leopold Raffin began working his passion that was one day to become known throughout the globe. In 1916 he was joined by his son in law, René Laclie in his quest to create traditional cognac. Together they nurtured and developed their cognac house, creating blends and cognacs for the discerning connoisseur.
Leopold and Rene kept their knowledge a closely guarded secret, and handed this down through the generations. Eventually, Cognac Eduard Larcy and the house of Maison Rene Laclie was passed to the current owner, Bertrand Laclie, some five generations later.
