History of Chateau de Gardemoulin

Chateau de Gardemoulin is a historic castle located in the charming town of Gensac-la-Pallue in Charante, France. Originally built in medieval times, the castle was destroyed during the 16th century protests against the salt tax. However, it was later renovated in neo-Gothic style during the second half of the 19th century and stands today as a symbol of elegance, luxury, and modern decadence. The castle has a rich and intriguing history, having been sold as national property during the French Revolution before being privately owned by well-known success trainer Daniel Weinstock in recent times.

Chateau de Gardemoulin Today

Chateau de Gardemoulin is proud to announce that they have begun creating their very first Cognac. The idea was born when the owner of the Chateau, Daniel Weinstock, and his colleague Are Petter Groetnaes discovered their shared passion for Cognac during a conversation in January 2021. By the end of the week, the decision was made to create their own Cognac, which they named Chateau de Gardemoulin XO. The team at Chateau de Gardemoulin is dedicated to crafting a Cognac that reflects the elegance, passion, power, and luxury of the Chateau itself. They want their guests to have a memorable experience at the Chateau, and their new Cognac is just one way they plan to achieve this. The project is not only about creating a delicious and high-quality Cognac, but also about inspiring and motivating themselves to work towards excellence and positive energy. Stay tuned for more updates on Chateau de Gardemoulin's new and exciting venture.
