Description

Rouyer-Guillet is a very small cognac producer who bottled a number of their old cognacs in this style bottle in the 1945-1960 era. The were all sold with the Reserve de l'Ange (Angel reserve) logo. The style of the bottle, capsule, labels and wire net is very similar on all these bottles. They all share the blue band around the neck. The 1875 bottles contain Cognac shortly before Phylloxera struck the European vineyards and a estimated 90% was destroyed. This one is  marked with 80 years old which puts the bottling date at 1955.

The seller received this bottle from his wife's family whoe had the bottle of Cognac in the family for many years . At the time of my wife's father passing it was given to my wife
