Presumably a 1950s version of the iconic Louis XIII, imported by Renfield NYC. The fact, that the Bacarrat Logo is engraved at the bottom clearly marks this timespam.
The seller inherited this Cognac from my father who was a WWII and Korean Vet. He received this back when he was serving in the US navy in early 1950's from a fellow shipmate. It has been a topic of conversation throughout my childhood.
