It is in the determination of two men: Leopold Raffin in 1889 and then, his son in law René Laclie in 1916, to always go further in the elaboration and quality of the distillation process of their eaux-de-vie, which leads Bertrand Laclie, five generations later, to embrace the same passion and to lead to the total repositioning of the family house.
Today Maison René LACLIE dedicates this passion and heritage through Brands, such as Leopold Raffin which is a tribute to Bertrand Laclie's great great great grand father, with an international vocation.
Bertrand Laclie, President of the Maison Rene Laclie Spirits is responsible for the entire rebranding of the bottles and the corporate identity. The bottles were designed by Patrice Rouillard, who designs for the agency Optima Brand Design.
Cognac Léopold Raffin VSOP was the Gold winner in the Spirits category at the International Beverage Exposition and Competition in September 2010.
Léopold Raffin also won Bronze at the pentawards for best design in 2012.
