Around 35 years ago, during a conversation with a buyer from Harrods, David discovered that consumers responded strongly to vintage Cognacs over generic blends, especially if the bottles carried unique features. He realized that numbering bottles not only highlighted their uniqueness but also educated customers on the value of barrel aging. This commitment to distinctive, numbered vintages became a core element of Hermitage Cognac.
Their Philosophy
