Endless Armagnac Today

Endless Armagnac is a contemporary Armagnac brand by Secret Arts of Spirits, a French company located in Port-de-Bouc. The brand’s mission is to renew interest in Armagnac, presenting this historic Gascon eau-de-vie through a collection that combines aged Bas-Armagnacs, vintage bottlings and a spiced expression designed for a new generation of spirits drinkers. The official Endless collection presents 11 Armagnacs across age-stated, vintage and spiced releases.

The Endless range is built around 70cl bottles at 40% ABV. Its aged Armagnacs include 13, 23, 33 and 43 year old expressions, each positioned around a different stage of maturation. The younger 13 year old highlights fruit, spice and freshness, while the 23 year old moves into deeper wood and spice. The 33 year old develops rancio notes, and the 43 year old shows the depth that comes from long ageing in Gascon oak.

History of Endless Armagnac

Endless is part of Secret Arts of Spirits, a company active since 2014 and focused on premium spirits across several categories, including rum, whisky, vodka, gin, liqueurs, Cognac and Armagnac. The Endless project reflects this broader approach: it is not presented as a traditional estate distillery, but as a curated Armagnac collection shaped by selection, blending and modern brand design.

The brand’s identity is built around contrast: old Armagnac and modern presentation, Gascon tradition and contemporary drinking occasions, rare vintages and accessible discovery bottles. This is especially clear in Endless Spiced, a 6 year old Bas-Armagnac presented as a spiced Armagnac and designed to make the category more approachable. It received Grand Gold at the Frankfurt International Trophy 2023 in the Armagnac AOC Bas Armagnac category.

Aged Armagnacs, Vintages and Spiced Release

The age-stated Endless Armagnacs are strongly linked to Baco, a grape variety valued in Armagnac for its body, structure and ageing potential. The 13 year old “The Luck” is listed as a 100% Baco Bas-Armagnac aged in Gascon oak, with notes of dried mandarin, spice, vanilla and fruit. The 33 year old “The Reason” and 43 year old “The Wisdom” are also described as 100% Baco Bas-Armagnacs, showing deeper oak, spice, leather, roasted notes and long maturation.

The vintage side of Endless includes symbolic years such as 1900, 1918, 1945, 1963, 1991 and 2000. The official collection gives grape compositions for several vintages, including Baco, Ugni Blanc and Colombard depending on the year. The 1918 vintage uses 60% Ugni Blanc and 40% Baco, while the 2000 vintage combines 70% Baco, 15% Ugni Blanc and 15% Colombard.

For those discovering Armagnac for the first time, Endless offers an unusually varied entry point: the spiced 6 year old for cocktails and accessible tasting, the 13 year old for fruit and spice, the 23 and 33 year old bottlings for mature complexity, and the vintage releases for collectors looking for bottles tied to specific years. London Spirits Competition results for 2023 also list Endless Vintage 2000 with a Gold Medal and 92 points, and Endless 13 Years “The Luck” with a Gold Medal and 91 points.
