Eddu 15 Year Old is a French whisky produced by Distillerie des Menhirs, located in Plomelin, Brittany in the Bretagne. Founded in 1986 and known for its unique approach, the distillery began producing whisky in 1999. This expression is made exclusively from IGP buckwheat (blé noir), specifically the Harpe variety, cultivated in Brittany.
Distilled twice in traditional Charentais stills and aged entirely in French oak casks, Eddu 15 Year Old exemplifies the blending of Breton heritage and French distillation techniques. The result is a whisky that is both unique and refined, showcasing deep regional roots and meticulous craftsmanship.
