Armagnac Sempé XO Islay Wooden Arch is an extra old blend of eaux-de-vie that has spent a minimum of 10 years aging in old Limousin oak casks. This XO contains an impressive array of aromas before the Armagnac has even passed your lips. It boasts powerful aromatic strength and prevailing orange and woody flavors, which contrast delectably against subtle underlying hints of caramel and violet. Upon the first sip, expect to be greeted with a further injection of tangy sweetness, as notes of plum marmalade swim smoothly across the palate. An overall well-balanced Armagnac offering great length and an inviting sweetness - the perfect XO for connoisseurs with a sweet tooth.

Sempe is one of Armagnac’s most well-known trading houses. Founded in 1934 by Abel Sempe, in the Gascon region, he developed the brand on an international level. Innovation is therefore at the heart of the house of Sempe. The family business seeks to continue producing Armagnac in the same way that Abel Sempe once did, which strives to combine savoir-faire with enabling Armagnac to be as accessible to as many people as possible.

Presentation of the decanter

How to enjoy
