Description

Armagnac Monluc 1972

Armagnac 1972 Monluc is a delectable Armagnac from the vintage harvest of 1972, selected for its exceptional quality eau-de-vie. As part of the Monluc collection, this offering spent several years aging in oak barrels and receiving the necessary attention in order to develop optimum tasting pleasure.

Faithful to a strong family tradition, the house of Monluc care for their Armagnacs with utmost attention to detail and passion. The estate is located in Ténarèze where the clay-limestone soils give way to feisty and dry wines perfect for the development of high-quality eau-de-vie embodying finesse, liveliness, complexity and softness. The prestigious Gascon eau-de-vie is then stored as it should be (in oak barrels) up until it is finally ready to be bottled and consumed.

Presentation of the bottle

Dressed in a classic Cognac decanter, the presentation of this Armagnac epitomizes elegance. With golden accents and the Armagnacs glimmering amber color at the forefront, the traditional swirls of the typology add an air of traditional charm to an artisanal product that is quite literally dripping in history. Arriving with a bespoke oak wooden case, the splendour of this Armagnac continues far beyond the eau-de-vie however making it an idyllic gift choice to an Armagnac enthusiast or connoisseur.

How to enjoy

Since this is a high-quality and mature vintage offering, we suggest serving it neat at room temperature. Allow the Armagnac to stand for a few minutes before bringing the glass to your lips and embarking on a tasting journey sip after sip.
