Description

Armagnac XO Carafe Olympe

The Armagnac XO Carafe Olympe from the house of Jean Cavé is a very old blend of Armagnac that is produced with excellence and fine attention to detail within the heart of the Gascogne terroir.

This Armagnac XO is not a vintage edition, but a blend of different spirits that have matured for at least 6 years. Carrying sweet aromas and containing notes of wood, vanilla and cocoa, Armagnac XO offers a pleasant experience as the candied aromas immerse across the palette.

Boasting four generations of expertise in the art of distilling and aging, both vintage and blended Armagnac brandies, the house of Jean Cavé is situated amidst the Bas-Armagnac region. With more than 135 years of tradition passed down through the families four generations, the house of Jean Cavé comprises a vast range of unique products that vary not just in age, but in taste and blend too.

Presentation of the Decanter

This beautifully designed decanter provides a clean and contemporary presentation. Due its soft curves and slim neck - an essence of femininity is present within the style of this bottle. The sleek bottle is further complemented by the sweet aroma (cocoa, vanilla, fruits) of the Armagnac XO contained inside.

How to best taste an Armagnac XO

Match your mood, by tasting Armagnac the traditional way as a digestive at room temperature, allowing the Armagnac to stand for up to 10 minutes before consumption. Or alternatively, try the tasting with a hint of modernity by pairing Armagnac XO with a dessert - as the sweet and fruity aromas compliment other candied flavourings delectably. Accompanying Armagnac XO alongside a cigar is also exquisite on the senses.
