Description

Ferte de Partenay Bottles a Beautiful Blend

Armagnac HA is an exquisite blend presented in a beautiful Basquaise bottle, a polished package produced in the heart of the lower Armagnac region of France in Lannepax. Aged over 10 years, it is just one brandy in Ferte de Partenay’s collection, which also features vintage Armagnacs, some that are over two centuries old.

Ferte de Partenay, the trading house behind Armagnac HA, is rooted in a proud history of traditional Armagnac production. Their core principles include stability and passion, upholding the highest standards of distillation to ensure quality in everything from terroir to tannin. Ferte de Partenay’s blends are the fruit of the cellar master’s labor, who meticulously mixes Armagnacs of different ages to arrive at the perfect concoction.

Armagnac HA, as its name suggests, is an Hors d’Age blend, at over 10 years old. Like many of Ferte de Partenay’s brandies, it is enriched over time to develop an array of pleasant scents including vanilla, candied fruit, prunes and woody notes. On the palate, its maturity is easily detected - a rich, powerful taste to reflect the impeccable elements blended together.

This eau-de-vie is presented in a charming Basquaise bottle - the traditional vessel for Armagnacs. With a wide body and slim neck, it recalls past eras to bring an extra narrative element to the experience of consuming Armagnac HA. The brandy is deep mahogany in color, with light labelling to achieve a classic look.

Armagnac HA is ultimately a blend that looks and feels as old as its vintage counterparts. In line with its decade of aging, Armagnac aficionados can confidently give this a 10.
