Armagnac Clés des Ducs 1990
Description
An Exquisite Bottle of Vintage Elegance from Clés des Ducs
Proud trading house Clés des Ducs captures the classic character of 1990 with their vintage Armagnac 1990 Clés des Ducs. Distilled in Panjas surrounded by ardent history and inimitable terroir, this brandy offers a mellow, lingering experience of an elegant time.
Situated in the heart of the Gers region, Clés des Ducs is an award-winning house driven by its core principles of specificity and rigor. Their terroir extends over Panjas, Maupas and Estang, known for their tawny sands, and the grape variety used most prominently by the trading house is the Ugni Blanc. Clés des Ducs is committed to upholding the region’s noble traditions of Armagnac production that dates back to the 15th century.
Taken neat, Armagnac 1990 Clés des Ducs has a rich taste with lasting impact, with generous aromas to match. Clés des Ducs brandies are fruity and lightly wooded, and this vintage comes in a graceful Exception bottle. With a tall, tapered body and sleek neck, the bottle perfectly presents the rich red nectar of the eau-de-vie.
Armagnac 1990 Clés des Ducs is just one in a series of Clés des Ducs’ award-winning vintage Armagnacs. The house won gold in 2016 for their 1998 vintage, as well as for a string of their Armagnac blends, and this particular 1990 vintage won silver in 2011.
With the perfect balance of strength and delicacy, this brandy is a fitting vintage for Armagnac aficionados.
