Having spent 25 years in oak barrels, this excellent eau-de-vie boasts surprising tastes, aromas and sensations - the result of spending a quarter of a century being distilled to perfection.

Veuve Lafontan & Ses Enfants is the proud producer of this Armagnac. The house is a small, artisanal business that prides itself on an ancestral know-how honed since its inception in 1904. Nestled in a picturesque landscape in the lower Armagnac area, it is deeply influenced by the culture of the region - each surrounding vineyard, river and woodland informing the spirit of its brandies. Blends like Bas-Armagnac 25 ans - Excellence fall to the house’s experienced master, who perfects each concoction in the dark cellar.

Intensity and complexity abound in this blend, with aromas of spice and biscuit surprising the senses. On the palate, this eau-de-vie’s recipients are treated to fantastic flavors of gingerbread and baked apple. The overall experience combines cottagey comfort with a fresh ferocity.
