Description

A Copper Classic from Veuve Lafontan & Ses Enfants

Bas-Armagnac 15 ans - Equilibre is a rich blend from artisanal Armagnac house Veuve Lafontan & Ses Enfants. Fresh and full-bodied, it encompasses the perfect mix of influences from the esteemed lower Armagnac terroir and grape varieties. Aged 15 years in traditional oak barrels, this Hors d’Age blend is a mature companion for Armagnac connaisseurs.

Veuve Lafontan & Ses Enfants is the proud producer of this Armagnac. The house is a small, artisanal business that prides itself on an ancestral know-how honed since its inception in 1904. Nestled in a picturesque landscape in the lower Armagnac area, it is deeply influenced by the culture of the region - each surrounding vineyard, river and woodland informing the spirit of its brandies. Blends like Bas-Armagnac 15 ans - Equilibre fall to the house’s experienced master, who perfects each concoction in the dark cellar.

Aromas of pear and grape awaken the senses, while the taste of Bas-Armagnac 15 ans - Equilibre is smooth, balanced and full-bodied. This brandy’s Cognacaise bottle brings class to the blend - it appears tall, slim and light. This cleverly contrasts with the rich copper color of the eau-de-vie, and ties in seamlessly with Veuve Lafontan & Ses Enfants’ distinctive silver labelling.

Overall, maturity and modernity combine to ensure this 15-year-old blend is an Armagnac to remember.
