Description
Alabat x Marion Vintage 1999 Armagnac
The Alabat x Marion Vintage 1999 Armagnac is an expression of Bas-Armagnac from the Domaine de Poutëou. This vintage Armagnac, distilled in December 1999 and bottled on July 2, 2023, has been aged for 23 years in French oak casks from Gascony, resulting in a limited edition release of only 250 bottles. Crafted exclusively from 100% Baco grapes and distilled using a traditional gas-fired Armagnac still from 1942, this Armagnac embodies the rich heritage and meticulous craftsmanship of the region.
Marion, a former researcher in Shanghai, returned to her family's estate in 2019 with a vision to create the finest expression of Armagnac. Her dedication and passion are evident in this exquisite vintage, which represents a new generation of Armagnac enthusiasts.

Nose: it's funny, this time we're venturing into great bourbon territory, with quality varnish and wood glue, very ripe peaches and pears, vanilla, and touches of coconut wine, butterscotch,...
