Description
Boinaud Smoaker is a unique product that allows chefs and cooks to infuse the flavor of dishes with intense Cognac aromas. A wonderful addition to any kitchen, it’s been created by grinding up ancient Cognac barrels that have for years (centuries?) been gently aging the iconic French spirit, and have therefore become part of Cognac history themselves.
The particular aromas of Cognac lend themselves perfectly to smoked bbq chips, creating a delightful way to add a wonderful twist to even the simplest of dishes. Try them with red and white meats, and of course, let’s not forget how well such smoking will marry with fish and grilled vegetables, such as eggplant.
Once tried, these will become a kitchen staple for any keen cook or chef.
About Maison Boinaud
Since the 17th Century, the Boinaud family has been established in the Grande Champagne region, where they have tended the grapevines and enjoyed the fruits of the land, generation after generation. In the 1940s, the ambitious Michel Boinaud established a distillery after he inherited a small parcel of land and a family still - and now, his grandsons Charles and Rémi carry on the legacy with an impressive 420-hectare estate, over 40 Charentais stills and even their own cooperage. Including brands such as J. Dupont and De Luze Cognac, they are able to bring Grand Champagne Cognac to people all around the world - 52 countries, to be precise.
