This XO ognac from the House of A. de Fussigny is a Borderies product: The smallest Cru in the Appellation Controlle of Cognac. The soil of this growth area is heavily influenced by chalk, red argil and sand. Those are really mixed soild conditions. The 70cl XO bottle is at 42% ABV.

TASTING NOTES
The taste of this cognac is a bit difficult, subtle on the nose, some foral aromas but light. In the mouth rather floral again, and some slight hints of hazlenut and almond, no spices. The finish is a bit flat.
